Woke Score
Lower is better
Review
The movie keeps pushing the destruction caused by toxic masculinity and the father's patriarchal control the whole way through. The brothers suffer and die under hyper-masculine pressure and emotional repression. Kevin rejects it at the end by embracing vulnerability and crying with his sons while they tell him it's okay to cry.
