Poker Face follows Jake Foley, a rich tech builder and skilled gambler who learns that he is dying. He brings four old friends to his large home near Sydney for one last poker game. Jake uses truth serum and hidden plans to force the men to face their lies, old hurt, and broken lives. Armed thieves then enter the house, turning a quiet reunion into a violent fight for survival.
The movie focuses on friendship, betrayal, addiction, marriage, fatherhood, regret, and death. Jake has made a fortune, but his money has not protected him from pain or from the harm caused by his choices. He tries to repair his family and help his friends before his illness ends his life. The story mixes a tense home invasion with a sad lesson about telling the truth and using wealth to make amends.
