Aidan is a young man living in a Los Angeles apartment when a fast virus turns people into violent cannibals called Screamers. He locks himself inside, counts his food and water, and tries to reach his family while the building fills with danger. After his parents die, he nearly gives up until he sees Eva alive in a nearby apartment. The film is a tense survival horror story that mixes blood, fear, loneliness, and a small thread of romance.
