Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is a six-part animated show set during the Galactic Republic and the early Empire. The story follows Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku at different points in their lives. Ahsoka grows from a village child into a brave Jedi who chooses to help people. Dooku becomes angry with the Jedi Order and slowly turns toward the Sith. The tone moves from warm and thoughtful to dark and tragic.

The show gives half of its episodes to a skilled female Jedi who becomes a major hero. Ahsoka’s story also includes a close bond with her mother and a strong focus on her personal choices. Dooku questions whether the Jedi serve ordinary people or political leaders. These ideas concern duty, power, and moral choices rather than modern identity politics. No confirmed queer story or direct modern activist message appears.
