Marvel Studios Legends is a short recap show about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each episode follows one hero, villain, team, or object through scenes from earlier Marvel films and shows. The stories move from New York and Washington to Wakanda, outer space, and other timelines. The tone is fast, dramatic, and made to prepare viewers for a new Marvel release.
Across both seasons, the show gives repeated attention to Sam Wilson, Shuri, the Dora Milaje, Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau, Captain Marvel, and the Skrulls. The clips show a black hero taking on a major American symbol, black women as leaders and fighters, and Kamala as a Pakistani Muslim teen whose family history reaches back to the Partition of India. The show also presents the Skrulls as refugees seeking a home and uses short lines about oppressed people, governments, and power.
