Little Demon follows Laura Feinberg, a tired single mother who has spent 13 years hiding her daughter from Satan. In a small Delaware town, thirteen-year-old Chrissy starts seventh grade and learns that she is the Antichrist. Her first period unlocks violent powers, while Satan returns and asks for time with her and control of her soul. The family moves between school, the human world, Hell, and strange other realms in a loud, bloody, and crude comedy.
The show makes puberty, motherhood, and female power part of its main story instead of background details. Laura is a skilled fighter who protects Chrissy, and Chrissy learns to control a power linked to her changing body. The show also jokes about period shame, bodily consent, and the pressure placed on women and single mothers.
