Superhost follows Claire and Teddy, a couple who run a travel video channel about vacation rentals. Their subscriber count is falling, and Claire wants a new hit while Teddy hopes to propose during the trip. They rent a house in the woods and meet Rebecca, a cheerful host who keeps appearing without warning. The movie mixes dark humor, tense home invasion scares, and bloody slasher violence.
The story focuses on people who turn private moments and other people's problems into online content. Claire cares more about views and money than the harm a bad review can cause. Teddy is kinder but still joins her search for a shocking story.
