Precious Cargo is a 2016 crime thriller about Jack, a skilled thief who lives with a small crew near the Gulf Coast. His former partner Karen arrives after a failed job and asks him to steal a shipment of rare gems. A violent crime boss named Eddie wants the gems and wants Karen dead. Jack must survive boat chases, gun battles, double crosses, and a final fight over the loot. The film uses a grimy, low-budget action style with crude jokes and a tense but often playful tone.
Karen drives the main plan, and her pregnancy claim gives her return to Jack a personal edge. Logan is a skilled sniper in Jack’s crew, while Jenna is a veterinarian who gets pulled into the danger. Jack remains the main thief, planner, and protector, so the story is built around crime skills, romance, lies, and male rivalry.
