Yeon Si-eun is a quiet student who earns the highest grades but lacks physical strength. At Byuksan High School, he becomes friends with fighter Ahn Su-ho and troubled rich student Oh Beom-seok. Their friendship pulls them into brutal fights with bullies and gang members who use fear and money to control other students. After Su-ho is badly hurt and Beom-seok turns against them, Si-eun transfers to Eunjang High School. The two seasons use a dark and tense tone, with bloody fights, hard choices, and little trust in adult help.
Season 2 follows Si-eun as he tries to protect new friends while the Union spreads across several schools. The story centers on loyalty, guilt, trauma, family abuse, and the cost of answering violence with violence. Si-eun uses school knowledge, quick thinking, and objects around him instead of simple strength. The story also shows students gaining courage when they stand together, and it ends with a small sign that old friendships and hope can return.
