Nyles is a lazy wedding guest in Palm Springs who already feels stuck in life. He meets Sarah, the unhappy maid of honor, at her sister’s wedding. After a weird desert cave pulls them both in, they must live the same wedding day again and again. The tone is silly, romantic, and a bit sad under the jokes.
The story is mostly about empty days, growing up, and falling for someone while nothing seems to matter. The main woke-facing beat viewers can see is Nyles saying he had sex with a male groomsman during the loop and treating it as no big deal.
