Hell of a Summer follows 24-year-old Jason Hochberg, who returns to Camp Pineway for another summer as a counselor. Jason loves the camp, but his younger co-workers think he is too old and childish to lead them. The group plans to party, flirt, and prepare the camp before the children arrive. A masked killer then murders the counselors, and Jason must protect the people who keep making fun of him. The movie uses bloody attacks, silly jokes, and a warm coming-of-age story.
