Thomas McKenzie is a former US federal agent who lives in London under witness protection with his young daughter, Carly. A wrong-address home invasion exposes him after he kills the attackers to protect her. A crime boss sends the skilled assassin Bishop to find Thomas and take Carly. The film is a fast, violent chase through homes, hospitals, roads, docks, and London landmarks.
Thomas fights police, criminals, and Bishop while trying to reach Carly before the crime boss does. The story treats fatherhood, loyalty, guilt, and family protection as its main ideas. Carly's late mother ties Thomas to the crime boss because she was the boss's daughter. The movie builds toward a violent family reunion and a final fight over Carly's safety.
