Home Team follows Sean Payton, a famous New Orleans Saints coach who is suspended from the NFL for one season after the Bountygate scandal. He returns to Argyle, Texas, hoping to repair his weak relationship with his 12-year-old son, Connor. Sean joins Connor’s losing middle school football team and uses his NFL skills to help the boys improve. The movie mixes family lessons, football contests, silly jokes, and gross humor in a light PG comedy.
