Superpowered assassin Kai Jin travels from San Francisco's Chinatown to Bangkok with his friends Lu Xin and Tommy. The group wants to find the killer of Tommy's sister, Jenny. A rich man named William Pan points them toward Ku An Qi, a Bangkok crime boss with strange powers. The hunt becomes a fast fantasy action story about magic charms, attackers controlled by magic, and an ancient force that could remake the world.
Zama, an Interpol agent and Lu's former lover, joins the group during the chase. Preeya, a local fighter, helps them but is tempted by visions of her dead family. The women have real fight scenes, while Kai and Lu remain the key heroes against Pan Gu. The story ends by stressing friendship, forgiveness, and the team stopping one dangerous enemy.
