Sierra Belmont is a rich hotel heiress who feels unsure about her father’s plan for her future. Her influencer boyfriend Tad proposes during a ski photo shoot, but an accident leaves her with no memory. Jake, a widowed lodge owner, lets her stay with him, his daughter Avy, and his mother-in-law at the North Star Lodge. The snowy town, Christmas events, and broad jokes give the movie a light and simple tone.
Sierra learns to cook, clean, and help at the lodge as she gets closer to Jake and Avy. She starts to prefer their close family life over Tad’s phone-first attention and her old rich routine. Her father and Jake eventually work together to help the small lodge. The ending is a straight Christmas romance built around family, kindness, and love.
