Stefan Barth is a German screenwriter, novelist, and occasional director from Hagen who has worked professionally since 1997. After studying film and television studies, English, and American studies at Ruhr University Bochum, he began writing for the television action series Der Clown and went on to contribute to German television formats including Alarm für Cobra 11, Was nicht passt, wird passend gemacht, Das Blut der Templer, Die Heiland, Ein Schnitzel für drei, and other television films and series. He directed and wrote the low-budget feature Motown in 2003.
