Person profile
Creator Context
Italian producer Francesca Andreoli began in festival and cultural programming at the Cineteca di Bologna and Bologna Film Commission before leading Tempesta Film Italia from 2014 to 2019. She has built a career around European auteur cinema, producing or developing work by Alice Rohrwacher, Leonardo Di Costanzo, Pietro Marcello, Chiara Bellosi and Maura Delpero. Her credits include The Wonders, The Intruder, Ordinary Justice, For Lucio and Vermiglio, with the latter bringing major festival and David di Donatello recognition. In 2021 she co-founded Cinedora, an international company focused on scouting and producing distinctive European talent. Publicly available material presents her primarily as an industry professional committed to independent, cross-border filmmaking and emerging directors. The company’s earlier involvement with EcoMuvi also reflects an interest in environmentally sustainable production practices, but there is little evidence of a pronounced partisan, activist or identity-politics persona.
