Summary

Coodie Simmons is a Chicago filmmaker, former stand-up comedian, and co-founder of Creative Control. His career has centered on Black music, sports, and cultural figures, beginning with the public-access hip-hop program Channel Zero and music videos for Kanye West, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Lupe Fiasco, and others.
