Sid the sloth starts an egg-sitting service after a bird mother trusts him with her egg. The story unfolds in the herd’s prehistoric valley as the animals prepare for Easter. Other animal parents bring Sid their eggs, and his small business quickly grows. Pirate bunny Squint steals the eggs while Sid sleeps because he wants revenge on Manny and the herd. Manny, Diego, Sid, and Squint’s kinder twin brother Clint follow a map and race to save the eggs in a bright, silly adventure.
The special treats Easter as a prehistoric holiday and creates an origin story for egg hunts. It presents family loyalty, teamwork, and helping neighbors as its main ideas. Sid’s egg-sitting business drives the plot, while Squint’s revenge supplies the danger. The humor comes from pranks, painted eggs, Scrat’s acorn chase, and the odd idea of a pirate bunny.
