24 is a Tamil science fiction thriller that moves between the early 1990s and 2016. Dr. Sethuraman builds a watch that can move its wearer through time, but his jealous twin Athreya attacks the family to take it. Sethuraman saves his baby son Mani and the watch before he dies, and Mani finds the device twenty six years later. Mani must face Athreya, who wakes from a long coma and wants his lost life back. The film combines danger, family feeling, romance, comedy, and bright fantasy. The story follows family love, sacrifice, fear of growing old, and the danger of using great power for selfish reasons. Mani uses the watch to impress Sathya, correct mistakes, and protect his family, while Athreya uses it to pursue youth and revenge.
