Vi-Dan Tran is a German filmmaker, cinematographer, stunt performer, action designer, and director born in Cologne. After studying film-focused media design at FH Aachen, he built a career combining filmmaking with martial arts and stunt work. He co-founded the TeamBay stunt group and has worked on productions including Skyfall, Cloud Atlas, Agent 47, Into the Badlands, The Foreigner, Bleeding Steel, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Dune, and Halo. As a director and cinematographer, he has made commercials, music videos, and independent genre projects for artists including Lena Meyer-Landrut and MoTrip. His fan film work includes Darth Maul: Apprentice and Cyberpunk 2077: Phoenix Program.
