Person profile
Creator Context
Şebnem Kitiş is a Turkish producer, production designer and founding partner of PTOT Film, which she co-established in 1999. She studied cinema and television, worked across assistant directing, art direction and post-production, and has since combined commercial production with feature films, television, documentaries and branded content. Her documented credits include co-producing 9 and Silsile and producing or overseeing later projects such as Last Summer, One-Way to Tomorrow, Method and Don’t Leave. She also published a documentary photography book about Istanbul’s Asmalımescit district and served as general coordinator for the Habitat II United Nations conference, indicating substantial cultural and international production experience. PTOT has produced more than a thousand commercials and belongs to Turkish professional producers’ associations, but Kitiş has no widely reported political statements, activist affiliations, representation campaign or recurring public identity agenda. Socially relevant subjects in projects associated with her are not sufficient to infer personal ideology. The available record therefore supports a conventional industry-producer profile and a zero woke score.
