Sam Hoffman is a veteran American producer, director, writer, and production manager whose career spans independent film, television, and digital media. He produced or executive produced projects including Moonrise Kingdom, Begin Again, 5 Flights Up, The Oranges, Madam Secretary, Ways & Means, and Evil, and directed and wrote the feature Humor Me. Earlier credits include assistant-directing work on films such as The Royal Tenenbaums, School of Rock, Dead Man Walking, Groundhog Day, and A League of Their Own.
