Summary

Filipino-American animation writer, director, and story artist whose long career is mostly mainstream studio craft: storyboard and story work on Batman: The Animated Series, DreamWorks features including The Prince of Egypt and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, then two decades at Pixar on Finding Nemo, Up, WALL-E, Ratatouille, the short Dug's Special Mission, and as co-director and story writer of Inside Out, which earned him an Oscar nomination for original screenplay. Later credits include story and senior-creative work around Coco, Soul, Elemental (voice of Bernie Lumen), and additional screenplay material on Inside Out 2.
