Istanbul-based Turkish filmmaker, executive producer, production designer, actress, photographer and printmaker who works across independent cinema and visual art. She has produced and designed low-budget and international festival films, acted in theatre and film, and developed documentary and archival projects centered on artistic memory, cultural heritage, nature and the relationship between people and the environment. Her public artistic framing includes animist and ecological perspectives, cultural continuity and preservation, including depositing Turkish artwork in the Arctic World Archive. In a 2024 interview, she described censorship as an ongoing danger and said artists have a responsibility to find creative ways to tell socially meaningful stories beyond restrictions.
