Creator Context
Jenny Van Der Lande is a British television development and production executive whose career began at the BBC, where she worked in drama development and later became a script editor on Casualty. She subsequently developed projects for Working Title TV, including the BAFTA-nominated London Spy and You, Me and the Apocalypse, before joining Brontë and Snowed-In Productions. There she helped build the drama slate and developed or executive-produced projects including multiple series of Strike, Mrs Wilson, The Midwich Cuckoos, Too Close and You Don’t Know Me. Her work shows an interest in distinctive, emotionally complex stories and adaptations, including crime, family trauma and queer relationship drama, but public information does not establish a sustained activist, partisan or explicit DEI persona. Her score reflects a limited identity-related creative signal rather than a dominant political pattern.
